Born in Rome and now based in Milan, Isabella (aka Matisa) has carved out her own place in electronic music with a sound that is as playful as it is powerful. Her journey began in her teenage years, when her curiosity for digging records and experimenting with rhythm naturally evolved into DJing. What started as a passion for discovery quickly turned into a language of expression, where every set became a way to connect emotion, movement, and freedom.
Matisa’s music stands out for its bright, kinetic energy, weaving together vibrant grooves, shimmering melodies, and unexpected twists. Her music has earned support from influential figures such as Dixon, Seth Troxler, Gerd Janson, Peggy Gou, and Moxie, among others.
