Kim April’s sound is influenced by the Amsterdam minimal house scene with a touch from London’s underground. She has been seen on line ups with artists like Sydney Charles, Chloe Caillet, Prunk, Toman etc. On Ibiza she played at Cova Santa for the well known Amsterdam concept PIV as well as opening for ANOTR on Mykonos. She loves to vibe with the crowd and is often also one of them to keep up with new music and get inspired by her favourite artists.
Kim April grew up in the Netherlands surrounded by a close family that loved to go to festivals, concerts and listen to music together. ‘As a child I remember on nights at home I was looking for my favourite music that I recognised from the covers asking if we could please play that one again!’ By the age of 20 she found her new home in Spain, Ibiza. Arriving on the island by herself and finding her way around brought her many new friends who shared the same passion for events, nightlife and music. With every year a growing love for electronic music she started to dj and produce her own tracks. Having a piano at home from an early age teaching herself to listen to songs and recreate; to now producing her own sound at the studio in the north of the island as well as home. Next to playing on Ibiza, travels have been made to the clubs of Milan, London, Marbella, Amsterdam, Mykonos, Dubai and more to come…
