Taking the Netherlands by storm, is Dj and producer Milion. Presenting a distinctly minimal approach to House that isn’t afraid to diverge into the realms of UK Garage and Electro, Milion’s taste behind the decks as well as in the studio have seen him quickly establish himself as a local favorite, just moments after his move to the Dutch underground music capital, Amsterdam.
Having grown up outside of the Netherlands, the young artist was drawn to the deep and raw identity of Rotterdam, making his way there to kick off a career in music. With his foundations solidified, it was evident that Milion was destined for more. He found himself craving the hustle of a bigger city and so, he decided to go all in on his craft and make the big move to Amsterdam.
Like clockwork, the gigs followed. After securing a number of shows at highly renowned venues like Bret and Shelter, as well as his debut at the world-renowned festival, Awakenings, on top of many successful releases on House music’s top labels, such as Moscow Records and Crystal Grooves, it’s apparent that Milion’s name can no longer be left out of the conversation.
His sets are a display of his extensive musical knowledge and technical ability in a way that is truly his own. Milion combines his captivating productions with classic elements of 90’s House and ground-shaking garage cuts to deliver an energy so infectious, even the unlikeliest of ravers get hooked. His unforgivingly clear-cut basslines paired with fast-paced synth work have seen him carve a unique sound that quickly gained the support of some of the industry’s heaviest hitters, like Cinthie, Gene on Earth, Interplanetary Criminal, Laidlaw and The Ghost, to name a few. With some epic releases in the pipeline, soon to come out on Hardline & Homegrown, and an ever-growing calendar of gigs, Milion has made it crystal clear that he is just getting started.
